Tectonic KRATIR PP CF filament in 2.85mm and 500g is a carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene built for very high stiffness at low weight. It combines high modulus engineering performance with fast printing, which makes it a strong choice for lightweight structural parts on the UltiMaker S series and Factor 4.
Tectonic KRATIR PP CF filament is a carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene engineered for very high stiffness, low weight, and fast printing. This 2.85mm filament pairs a high tensile modulus with low density, so it fits lightweight structural parts, jigs, and functional components that need strength without added mass.
Because KRATIR PP CF uses recycled carbon fibers in a polypropylene base, it delivers engineering grade rigidity while keeping parts light. As a result, users produce durable functional parts on the UltiMaker S series and Factor 4, and they rely on validated Cura Marketplace print profiles to reduce setup time.
Thanks to its stiffness and light weight, KRATIR PP CF suits parts that need structural strength without extra mass. Common uses include lightweight brackets, jigs and fixtures, drone and automotive components, and durable functional prototypes.

For best results, dry the filament at 60°C for 6 to 8 hours before printing. Set the nozzle temperature near 260°C, the bed near 60°C, and the chamber near 50°C, then adjust within the recommended ranges for your printer. A textured PEI sheet, glass, or carbon fiber plate works well, and Magigoo PP or Magigoo PP GF helps promote adhesion. Because this is a carbon fiber composite, use a hardened steel nozzle of 0.6mm or larger and print around 100 mm/s for reliable output. Validated print profiles for the UltiMaker S series and Factor 4 are available through the Cura Marketplace, which reduces calibration effort.
