HP DesignJet Cash In & Trade Up March – June 2026
HP DesignJet Trade Up Promo Q2 2026
HP DesignJet Cash In & Trade Up is back for Q2 2026, with up to $1,200 cash back on select HP DesignJet printers.
Now through June 30, 2026, HP is rewarding customers who upgrade their wide format printing equipment. Trade in a qualifying older inkjet or LED wide format printer and receive up to $1,200 back when you purchase or lease an eligible new HP DesignJet model.
This promotion is a practical way to reduce upgrade cost while moving into newer technology that can improve print quality, workflow efficiency, security, and day to day reliability. Whether your team prints CAD drawings, GIS maps, presentations, POP signs, backlit graphics, or photo quality output, this promotion can help make the move more affordable.
How the Promotion Works
The HP DesignJet Cash In & Trade Up promotion is simple:
- Purchase or lease a qualifying HP DesignJet printer between April 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026
- Trade in a qualifying older wide format printer
- Submit the claim form and proof of purchase by July 31, 2026
Many qualifying trade in systems are 36 inches or larger and include both inkjet and LED based equipment from HP and other major manufacturers.
When you purchase through Paragon Visual, we can help handle the rebate claim process for you. That makes it easier to move quickly, avoid paperwork issues, and make sure the right documentation is submitted on time.

What Counts as a Qualifying Trade In
HP accepts a broad range of qualifying wide format trade in equipment. In general, eligible systems include many 36 inch or larger technical, graphics, multifunction, copier, inkjet, and LED printers.
That includes many older HP DesignJet and HP PageWide XL models, along with qualifying competitive systems from brands such as Canon, Epson, Ricoh, Xerox, KIP, Kyocera, OKI, ROWE, and others. If you are unsure whether your current printer qualifies, Paragon Visual can help review your model before you move forward.
Which HP DesignJet Fits Your Workflow?
Choosing the right upgrade depends on the type of work your team produces every day. Here is a simple starting point:
- HP DesignJet Z9+ Pro 64 inch for photo quality prints, high impact graphics, signage, and premium color work
- HP DesignJet Z6 Pro 64 inch for fast production graphics, posters, and general high volume print output
- HP DesignJet T2600 series for AEC, CAD, and GIS teams that need a secure multifunction printer with scan and copy capability
- HP DesignJet T1600 series for technical users who want strong line accuracy, dependable performance, and efficient CAD printing
- HP DesignJet XT950 for teams that want an accessible 36 inch multifunction or print solution for technical document workflows
If you are replacing an older technical plotter, it may make sense to compare the HP DesignJet T1600dr 36 inch PostScript® Printer, the HP DesignJet T2600dr 36 inch PostScript® Multifunction Printer, or the HP DesignJet XT950 36 inch Printer. For color intensive graphics and poster production, the HP DesignJet Z6 Pro 64 inch Printer and HP DesignJet Z9+ Pro 64 inch Printer are strong options to consider.
