Description

11 mil Graffiti Waterproof Paper for Digital Presses

Graffiti waterproof paper in 11 mil sits at the top of the line for weight and rigidity. The premium polyester core delivers strength, waterproofing, and tear resistance, while the heavy caliper gives the sheet a firm, card like body that holds its shape unsupported. Additionally, a proprietary scuff free coating grips toner tightly and produces vibrant output with no wipe off. Print providers choose this weight when a piece has to feel substantial and survive years of handling.

Caliper is what separates this sheet from the lighter weights. At 11 mil the material behaves much like a plastic card, which suits identification badges, luggage tags, countertop signs, and premium menus. Furthermore, the added stiffness helps pieces stand upright in holders or hang without curling. As a result, shops typically run 5 mil for pages and inserts, 8 mil for tags and mid weight cards, and this stock for anything that needs real presence in the hand.

Printing Guidelines and Additional Information

Run this stock using your press profile for heavy synthetic media, and check the caliper limit on your feeder before committing a full job. Because the polyester core carries heat differently than cellulose sheets, most operators dial in fuser temperature and feed speed on a short test run first. Specifically, watch the opening sheets for toner set and adjust from there. Store the material flat in a cool, dry area, and handle it with clean hands or gloves so fingerprints stay off the coated surface.

The sheets trim, punch, and bind cleanly with standard bindery equipment. Moreover, heavy calipers score best with a proper crease rule, which keeps the coating from cracking along the fold. A quick wipe with a damp cloth restores menus and other high contact pieces. Compare all three weights and explore the full lineup on the Graffiti polyester paper brand page at Paragon Visual.

Graffiti Polyester Paper

Graffiti Polyester Paper – Tough Synthetic Media for Real-World Use

Graffiti Polyester Paper is a waterproof, tear-resistant synthetic sheet designed for prints that have to survive more than a normal paper can handle. Instead of wrinkling, ripping, or falling apart when they get wet, Graffiti sheets hold up in rough conditions and high-touch environments. That makes them a great fit for menus, field manuals, safety tags, outdoor signage, and other pieces that get handled every day. This premium synthetic media is built on an extruded polyester base with a toner-receptive coating on both sides. As a result, toner bonds tightly to the surface and resists wipe-off, even on high-speed digital presses. Graffiti Polyester Paper is also engineered to run on a wide range of laser and digital toner press platforms, including equipment from HP Indigo, Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, and Konica Minolta, when used with the correct settings and testing for your press.

Key Features of Graffiti Polyester Paper

  • Waterproof and tear-resistant: Synthetic polyester construction keeps prints intact in wet, dirty, or high-traffic environments.
  • Durable, scuff-resistant surface: Designed to resist scuffs and abrasion so printed pieces keep a clean, professional look longer.
  • High heat resistance: Engineered for modern digital toner engines that run hot, with coatings that help prevent fuser issues and toner wipe-off.
  • Low static formulation: Coatings are designed to minimize static, which can improve press uptime and make post-press handling easier.
  • Cross-platform compatible: Suitable for many dry toner and liquid toner digital presses when used with proper synthetic media settings and testing.

Applications for Graffiti Polyester Paper

  • Menus and restaurant pieces: Create reusable menus, table toppers, and check presenters that stand up to spills, grease, and frequent handling.
  • Outdoor and industrial signage: Produce tags, safety signs, and instruction cards that need to handle moisture, dirt, and rough use.
  • Field manuals and reference guides: Print manuals and how-to guides for shops, warehouses, and job sites where standard paper would not last.
  • ID cards, tags, and labels: Use Graffiti sheets for durable ID pieces, equipment tags, and shelf labels that resist tearing and staining.
