Description

Method X SR-30 3-Pack – Soluble Support Filament for Complex ABS Parts

Method X SR-30 3-pack gives your MakerBot Method X platform the soluble supports it needs for truly complex ABS and high-temperature parts. Developed by Stratasys specifically for engineering materials, SR-30 dissolves away in an Ecoworks cleaning solution with heat and agitation, freeing internal channels, tight overhangs, and fine details that are difficult or impossible to support with breakaway materials.

This 3-pack includes three 1 lb spools of SR-30 Precision Support material, so you can keep production running longer between material changes. Each spool is designed to work with the Method series material system, reporting remaining material and type through the Smart Spool interface and maintaining support quality when stored correctly. Combined with the Support 2XA extruder, SR-30 enables clean, reliable dissolvable supports on MakerBot Method X and Method X Carbon Fiber printers.

Key Features of the Method X SR-30 3-Pack:

  • Three support spools included: Packaged as a 3-pack of SR-30 Precision Support material for extended print runs and reduced reordering.
  • Engineered by Stratasys: Proprietary soluble support designed to work with ABS and other higher-temperature materials on the Method X platform.
  • Clean dissolving supports: Uses Ecoworks cleaning solution with heat and agitation so supports dissolve away from parts instead of breaking off.
  • Ideal for complex geometries: Excellent for internal channels, undercuts, and intricate features where breakaway supports are difficult to remove.
  • Smart Spool integration: SR-30 spools are designed to report material data and help maintain low humidity when used with the Method series material system.

Applications:

  • ABS functional prototypes: Print strong, test-ready parts with internal supports that dissolve away for a smooth, clean finish.
  • Jigs, fixtures, and tooling: Produce fixtures and end-of-arm tooling with complex support structures that can be removed without damaging critical surfaces.
  • Production and service parts: Support intricate features on low-volume production components, service parts, and housings where dimensional accuracy matters.
